MoffettNathanson cuts Q2 TV ad forecasts again as streaming picks up slack

Analyst Robert Fishman now expects Q2 cable ad revenue to fall 12.3% to $4.48 billion and broadcast to drop 8.3% to $2.47 billion, both steeper than his earlier estimates.

Why it matters. Fishman argues advertisers no longer have to accept upfront CPM increases now that FAST and AVOD supply has loosened the reach squeeze that once let TV sellers hold price leverage.
