Report: CTV brand safety tags often incomplete, self-declared
Advanced Television reports that Peer39’s new study finds CTV brand safety classifications often rely on partial or self-declared bid-request fields, with 58 percent of Man of Steel test requests carrying just one genre tag and 11 percent none at all.
Why it matters. Buyers relying on web-style safety labels for CTV must demand authenticated programme and traffic signals before bidding, since a “safe” tag can mask missing or unverifiable data.
