Adobe acquires Indian marketing intelligence startup Rilo

TechCrunch’s Ivan Mehta reports that Adobe has acquired India-based marketing intelligence startup Rilo in a deal involving licensing and team acquisition. Terms weren’t disclosed, and Rilo will shut down, folding its six-member team and workflow-automation IP into Adobe’s marketing suite.

Why it matters. Rilo’s customers lose access to the tool entirely, since Adobe is shutting the product down and absorbing its team and IP rather than keeping it running.
